The Rend Lake College MarketPlace, located on Potomac Boulevard just west of Interstate 57 / 64 in Mt. Vernon, is a unique combination of classroom space, retail operations and state services. The college’s Cosmetology program, Studio RLC, is located here, as are the EMT-Paramedic, Certified Nurse Assistant, and American Heart Association training centers. There also are classrooms and a computer lab, and several college courses are taught here each semester.

In addition, the MarketPlace houses Project CHILD, the Child Care Resource and Referral program, as well as Adult Education & Literacy classrooms and conference rooms. Blended, Showdown Steakhouse & Saloon, and Shoe Stop are located at the MarketPlace.
