Mt. Vernon Outland Airport

Mt. Vernon Outland Airport (MVN) serves the businesses and residents of Jefferson and neighboring counties. The airport’s modern infrastructure, highlighted by an Instrument Landing System equipped 6500’ by 150’ main runway, makes it an ideal location for numerous aeronautical activities. Cargo, corporate, charter, and recreational flying, as well as fixed wing and helicopter flight training, occurs daily at MVN.

Several community events are held on the ground of MVN annually including a Run For The Wall Motorcycle stop, Young Eagle airplane rides, Salute to Freedom 4^th of July Celebration, AirVenture Cup Races, King City Soccer League, Light Sport Aircraft Expo and more.

Additionally, MVN is home to a local favorite, the Bonnie Café, and the Veteran’s Hall of Honor and Colonel R.D. White Military Museum.
