Celebrate the Celestial at Cedarhurst: Dual Lecture Sheds Light on the Total Solar Eclipse

On April 8, 2024 the Sun, Earth, and Moon will align in the sky to provide a spectacular total solar eclipse that will be visible in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
Cedarhurst welcomes two incredible speakers to discuss this rare phenomenon: Dr Kenneth Sembach, astronomer at the Space Telescope Science Institute and Susanna Widicus Weaver, astrochemist and professor at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for a cocktail hour with the featured speakers. Formal presentations to follow at 7 p.m.
