Family Fun Pop Ups

Cedarhurst Center for the Arts invites you to join us at Veteran Park for our 2nd summer of Family Fun Pop-Ups! These one hour events are free and open to the public. All pre-K through grade school age children and their families are welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult.

EACH POP-UP EVENT WILL FEATURE:

• FREE hands-on learning activities
• Arts & Crafts
• Story Time – 10:30 am
• Snacks

• June 5th | 10 – 11 am | Veteran’s Memorial Park (at the shelter behind the snowcone stand)
  “Make it Grow” – Garden Week featuring U of I Extension, Illinois Nutrition Education Programs, Horticulture, and 4-H Programs
• June 19th | 10 – 11 am | Veteran’s Memorial Park (at the shelter behind the snowcone stand)
  “Juneteenth Celebration” – featuring the Pop-Up Community Partners
• July 3rd | 10 – 11 am | Veteran’s Memorial Park (at the shelter behind the snowcone stand)
  “Patriotic Heroes” – Come out and meet local police and firefighters
• July 17th | 10 – 11 am | Veteran’s Memorial Park (at the shelter behind the snowcone stand)
  “Olympic Games” – Featuring the Jefferson County YMCA
• July 31st | 10 – 11 am | Veteran’s Memorial Park (at the shelter behind the snowcone stand)
  “Summer Sendoff” – Featuring C.E. Brehm Memorial Library
