Molina Healthcare of Illinois and PBS KIDS – ‘Downunder’ Family Fun Day

Molina Healthcare of Illinois (“Molina”) is partnering with PBS KIDS (WSIU) to host a ‘Downunder’ Family Fun Day at Cedarhurst Center for the Arts. This family-friendly event will feature a photo opportunity with Malik from PBS’ Work It Out Wombats, food, and animal-themed arts and craft activities. Additionally, every child in attendance will receive a free book and activity to take home.

While proficiency in language arts for students in Illinois has improved to 35%, proficiency remains below pre-pandemic levels. Through this event series, Molina hopes to instill a love of learning in Illinois’ youth as part of their mission to build stronger communities, one life at a time.
