The Jefferson County Farm Bureau will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast to benefit Ag in the Classroom from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Rolland Lewis Community Building at Veterans Park.
Tickets for the Feb. 10 event are $5 for adults and $3 for children age 12 and under. The price includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, and a choice of milk, orange juice or coffee. Carry-outs will also be available.
According to a Jefferson County Farm Bureau news release, the proceeds from the event will benefit the Jefferson County Ag in the Classroom (AITC) program. As part of the program, the AITC Coordinator visits classrooms in Jefferson County to teach hands-on lessons about the importance of agriculture and where our food comes from. The program is dependent on a grant from the Illinois Farm Bureau and donations from Jefferson County Farm Bureau members and fundraising efforts.
