The American Forces on D-Day

Josh Myers is a Second World War history enthusiast and native of Mt. Vernon who has walked the grounds of some of the most important battlefields of D-Day. In honor of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, he will take us on a journey through the experience of the American soldiers as they invaded Nazi-occupied France. With his extensive knowledge and vivid storytelling, he walks us through the preparation of the invasion, the naval operations, and the seaborne and airborne landings that marked this historic event.
